Monochrome Print of the Year Competition

Rules:
- Open
to all groups – Bronze, Silver, and Senior. A maximum of 4 prints may
be entered. The print can be in colour or monochromatic.
- Prints can be entered with
a minimum size of 8 x 10 mounted, maximum size of 16 x 20 mounted.
Panoramic prints must be a minimum of 8 inches on the small side and
not exceed 320 square inches in size.
Print entries may be matted or mounted.
Those
not matted should be mounted on standard mounting material, e.g. form
core, mat board, manilla card stock or sturdy cardboard. No masonite,
glass, stretcher or conventional frames are allowed.
Images mounted or matted exceeding these dimensions will be disqualified.
- Four
monochrome prints may be entered. A print may only be entered in
one competition. The same image can be entered in more than one
competition on condition that a separate print is made and provided for
each competition.
- Attach
one entry card per print; indicating the print title and maker’s name.

Awards:
The winning print will receive the Monochrome Print Award Certificate and the first place ribbon.
Second and Third place will receive a corresponding ribbon.
Honourable Mention ribbons are given at the judge’s discretion.
Hand in prints at the first meeting in April to the Competitions Director – Prints.
Winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Banquet. | SITE MENU
